I just received a call from Tru's case manager. They received the letter from Tru's surgeon urging them to allow Tru to be treated at Dankmeyer. They also verified that Dankmeyer is eagerly pursuing approval to treat Tru. Also noted in Tru's file is the fact that Dankmeyer has offered to treat Tru free of charge.
Low and Behold... now the insurance company has agreed to cover all expenses for Tru to "go out of network" and be seen exclusively at Dankmeyer.
I think Tru must have an extra special place in God's heart!
Oh the tears of joy!
