DISNEY - Day 3 - Animal Kingdom

Another early start. We were at the Animal Kingdom at 7AM (a priviledge reserved for resort guests). Everyone in the park rushed to the back to catch the first Safari ride. The animals needed a while to get out and about so the adults (less myself) and Lin-Ley (she is fearless) rode the big roller coaster, Everest, first. Luckily everyone had an empty stomach.

Family photo.

The Hannons + 1.

Baloo, King Louie and the kids.

Here are Tori and Lin-Ley with the gorilla. You can see the gorilla if you really look. I just thought this was a cute photo of them.

We found Pocohontas! (One of my favorites!)

Tru did not know Rifiki but he loved him. Apparently the furrier they come the more he is attracted to them.

Kisses all around for Jiminy Cricket.

There was also a petting zoo. Just goats and sheep. Lin-Ley following this guy around for quite a while waiting to brush it.

Lin-Ley and Tori catch a ride from The Dads.

We made an early exit from the park. The girls needed some beauty rest because they had only a few hours before they had dinner reservations with the Disney Princesses.

Lin-Ley tried to give us her best Mulan pose.

We had to go to Norway (in EPCOT) for the Princess dinner. Mulan poses at the entrance of EPCOT.

Belle greeted all of the little princesses as they entered the banquet hall.

Sleeping Beauty was the first princess to visit our table.

Then Jasmine.

Alice in Wonderland? When did she become a princess??

Tru was a good sport and hung out eating his Mickey Mouse ravioli.

Finally... Cinderella arrived.

Mulan and Daddy.

Mulan and Mommy.

"Now that was some good ravioli!"

Quote Of The Day:
(Upon seeing Cinderella at the Princess Dinner)
"Thank you for bringing me here!!!"

DISNEY - Day 2 - EPCOT

Next Stop - EPCOT. Day 2 - little sleep - much to do and see.

After the Nemo ride, Lin-Ley and Tru pose in Bruce's shark mouth.

Reflecting....

Lilo and Lin-Ley. Tru was having no part of Lilo. Apparently he only likes the very fuzzy characters.

Here's Timon.

Baloo.

Belle did her best to have Tru join her and Lin-Ley in the photo. He acted as if he might join them then smiled and hopped the other way.

Lin-Ley was quite delighted to have the spotlight.

But before Belle would let Tru get away she planted a big kiss on his forehead!

We walked through Mexico and the crew tried on some sombreros.

While in China we watched the Monkey King performance.

And everyone who has visited Epcot has this shot (less the glimpse of their red camera case in the upper left hand corner).

Quote of The Day
"I hope we see Mulan." (x 25!)

P.S. I have added comments to Day 1.

DISNEY - Day 1 - Magic Kingdom

We made it and have had a "magical" first day. I do not have much time for commentary because we have to tuck the kids into bed soon. It has been a long, fun day and we are all pooped!

The first character we saw was Pluto. Lin-Ley was in the line right away but Tru was over stimulated. He finally realized that we wanted him to stand by Pluto. This is as close as we got.

I think anyone that has visited Disney World has taken this photo.

The first ride of the day was the carousel. Here are Donna (Dallas' cousin), Tom and Tori.

Autie Gabby (Jody's sister) and Mr. Mike also made a surprise appearance.

Tru was not smiling yet...

Next up, the Dumbo ride. Tru screamed with delight as Dumbo took us up and down.

Later we saw Stitch. Tru wanted to hug him immediately.

This time Tru was happy to stand for the photo. Before leaving Tru planted a kiss right on the end of Stitch's nose.
Lin-Ley was also very excited because Stitch was the first character to sign her autograph book.

Lin-Ley posing with Zurg after the Buzz Lightyear Ride.

We hung around for the Christmas Parade.
It is funny to hear Christmas music all day while in the parks.
