Snow Day In Louisiana !!!

Yes, it happens! I started receiving phone calls from family and friends very early last Thursday (Dec 11, 2008) to inform me it was snowing in Louisiana. They got 6 inches - wow!

Although I was not there I can just imagine how the kids reacted:

Step 1 - Run outside in disbelief.
Step 2 - Try to catch a snowflake on your tongue.
Step 3 - Run back inside to find the warmest coat and clothes you can find.

Step 4 - Make a snow angel.
Kailey demonstrates for us.

Step 5 - Go back inside and change into some dry clothes. The snow there was very wet.


Step 6 - Pose for the camera.

Step 8 - Go back inside for more dry clothes.

Step 10 - Go back inside (again!) for dry clothes and try to thaw out your hands.

Step 11 - Spend the remainder of the day with a huge grin - you just had your first SNOW DAY!
